Yoga tradition

Yoga is an ancient Indian philosophy rooted in the spiritual path to enlightenment through meditation. Throughout the years asanas (physical positions) were developed to mobilize and strengthen the body in preparation for meditation. Over time, however, the positive effects of the physical practice on the overall well-being and the harmonizing of body and soul were acknowledged.

Today, yoga incorporates asanas, pranayama (breathing exercises), relaxation and meditation.
